Testimonials

A wonderful book, beautiful, witty, lively and cute. Happy is sincere, and of course good-willed, impulsive puppy that everybody will love. Exercise and games are wonderfully integrated into the story. The only limitation of the book is that it is far too lively and fun for a relaxing bedtime reading!

As a mother of three I have read very many books for my children.
This book is the most memorable one, especially because of the reaction of my three years old son. He was very excited the whole time and urged me to carry on reading, which I do not remember having happened before. Once the book was finished he said, "Again Mom, again! And he didn't stop until I read the book again. Then he bounched up and down - and so did I – and we had a blast. I give this book my highest recommendation.

Vanda Sigurgeirsdóttir, assistant professor at the University of Iceland – School of Education, football coach and former coach of Iceland's national team (women).

The first words that came to mind after reading the book were education, prevention and motivation. Everyone knows the importance of exercise, the importance of educating our children and spending time with them – nothing replaces that. The book captures all that in an extremely impressive and captivating way. This is a great book for preschools / kindergartens, I encourage all parents to take their kids and Happy on an exceptionally fun visit to the Zoo."

A book and a tool

Let's move! allows ... even expects the child to jump up
and down while being read to. The book is geared towards children up to six years old and was very well received in Iceland. The book is a good read but also a tool for parents and those who work with children to encourage exercise, development and bonding. The text is kept simple and repetition is used to encourage involvement. On every spread there is a short message to parents and those working with children explaining the exercises.

Storyline

Let's move! tells the story of Happy who is a good puppy even though his curiosity tends to get him into trouble. He knows all sorts of tricks – he rolls over, bends, twists and turns. One day he goes to the zoo with Asa and gets lost. Happy believes over and over again that he has found Asa ... but then the reader turns the page. While looking for Asa Happy has fun showing the animals, which he finds a bit lazy, how to move and shake. Even though the exercises don’t always go to plan he knows that the trick is just to not give up. Practice makes perfect!
